London Life magazine covers: 1950s
This page shows, in date order, London Life magazine front covers from 1950 to 1959. It cost 1/- (one shilling) in 1950 and 1/6 in 1959. The page size was slightly larger than A5. Note the spot colour, such as the model's lips in November 1954 and shoes in May 1956. Full-colour covers became common at the end of the decade. London Life magazine was published by New Picture Press, from offices at 31 Craven Street, off the Strand in London.
