Yachting
and boating magazines
The international nature of the industry, especially
at the luxury end, drives publishers of yachting magazines and boating
magazines to seek to spread overheads and sell advertising internationally.
The two biggest yachting and boating magazine publishers in the UK
are the Boat International Group, which specialises in the high-end of
the industry, and IPC Media, which has yachting and boating magazines
covering the whole range of the activity. Apart from the Royal Yachting
Association title RYA
Magazine, the best-selling UK titles shift 30-35,000 copies a month.
